Default D303 - under appreciated and valued

Posted By: leon

Hey Folks,
I got to looking at the gloss coating on the couple of D303's I have and wondered how any could have avoided getting a "crackled surface" ? I think this set, which shares poses with some others, is really neat....wish I could find more.....I got this one walking out the door at the last National, on the last day for the last time....I just spotted it out of the corner of my eye.....and nabbed it.....for a great price...from John Billingsly......regards all....

Yeah, I agree. The General Baking and related issues are very nice looking. I always tried snag them when I could back in the day, but they were tough as hell to find back then.

Lot #1883 in the Mastronet auction is a nice Eddie Plank from the D303 set.
