That's a hoot. They are being sold as "unauthentcated(not real)" with a $99.99 opening bid. Judging by the description, I'd say these con artists are aware of eBay's new rules regarding the sale of fakes.

Elliot, I sent the seller a email expressing my displeasure. As eBay now has a rule saying sellers can't disclaim knowledge of or responsibility for the auathenticity, it is my hope that eBay will will nip this auction in the bud.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel feel bad for the bidders who are had on this lot. The seller says, "They could have come from K-Marts yesterday,but I don;t think so" .... The guy is offering a Babe Ruth (1895-1948)autographed photo, yet says it's possible it came from K-Mart yesterday? I'm sorry, but I would require a bit better provenance and assurance than that before I bid.

I'm cofindent I'm not going out on a limb when I say, for the above mentioned auction lot, the provenance is: the seller's home computer printer within the last month. I'm also certain (am being totally serious) that he included the 'K-Mart' remark as a technicality, so that, as an out, he can say, "I didn't lie. I printed them in my basement. The nearest K-Mart is half a mile away."

He used to go by the ID Mikesr11 on eBay. He is a huge scammer that needs put away in the federal pen for awhile.
