Default The Return of the "7"

As I recall none of these with a 7, including a few I have or have had, are not real? And if I recall I think I have been fooled more than once.

The first clue I had was the beginning bid for this "rare" wrapper, however, someone will scarf it up. He also had a 100% rating so either people don't realize some things not real or they don't care as they have something added to their collection that they couldn't afford if it was real.

I live about a half hour from this guy. Perhaps a visit should be in the cards.

I like how the seller has two items for sale a Babe Ruth rookie and a poorly struck quarter from 1967 currently hammering the gavel block at $1.50

Leon, I know you have contacts at Ebay when you went to the mat to bring down Battlefield. This Ruth rookie is an abomination, and I think Ebay would be horrified to see the number of bidders and the price level already reached for a counterfeit or reprint card. Anyhow, they should be. Interestingly, all the bad Ruth rookies I have seen have the Sporting News back. Let's try to bust this assh***e.

The top 14 of 15 bids are by bidders with 0 feedback. I think we are safe at no one getting burned. I want to save my favors for better scams .

It is a great place but not perfect. Today a member got booted for not following through on a 20 dollar deal...and the buyer is out 20 bucks. The non-sender's id is/was Newton21089 and his name is Alex Newton. If it gets rectified he might be able to come back. It has been eons since I have heard about a bad deal there. And no outright scammer has ever gotten away with a scam there, to the best of my knowledge. It is caveat emptor and generally a really good place to buy, sell and trade. I believe I picked this up there quite some time ago.
