Hey All!

I am new to this side of the house, have been on the non sports tobacco forum for the past couple of years. I inherited a shoe box full of T cards, rough shape but old & cool cardboard. It has taken me some time (last 2 years) to sort thru them. I am located in the Pittsburgh area.

Now that I have my non-sports 1910ish T cards under control, I am looking to add to my T baseball sets.

I am working on a T205 HOF basic set, T206 HOF basic set, T206 back set and primarily a
T201 Mecca Double folders set.

I hope I am posting in the right spot!

I have a T201 Dupe #26 Seymour/Dygert graded SGC 30 Good. I am hoping to trade this for a T201 common I dont have, preferable SGC graded in the same grade. Let me know if anyone has any dupes they'd like to trade. Drop me an email and I can give you my want list and/or a scan.

Thanks!!

Cliff

Welcome aboard. You aren't posting in the right spot though. Just like on the other side there is a BST forum here. That is where buys, sells and trades should be posted. Just be careful in the future and once again, welcome aboard.

Hi Cliff. Welcome aboard. You posted your intro in the right place. Just not the trade part of your post. I hope you do well with your collection and you've come to the right place for prewar card knowledge.

Best regards.

Thanks Guys! Glad to be aboard! I've already been distracted enough with some great postings here and missed most of the 1st half of the Steelers game, although that might be a good thing today!

Mike the box had about 700 non sports and about 75 T205's and T206's. They were not the greatest shape but I scored a lot of tough backs, HOF's and one semi rarity T206 missing "S" snodgrass (sold at auction). Not knowing anything about the sets it was overwhelming at first to figure out what I had, and I am still learning. Lost a few valuable cards cheap in the beginning but I guess that is chalked up to a learning experience.

I sold off or traded most of the common baseball to add to the sets I am working on: T205 basic HOF, T206 basic HOF, T206 Back set and the T201's. The sets are on SGC registry under "Franklin."

thanks again for the welcomes!

see you on the B/S/T pages!

Cliff
