FOR SALE: 1950 Hollywood Stars Team Issue (2 Tough Jewish Players)

For Sale is an extremely tough to find set of the 1950 Hollywood Stars. This set looks much like the 1948-49 Los Angeles sets but the Hollywood Team Sets are far tougher to locate. The SCD lists 32 players in this set and this grouping includes 28 of them, I don't know if some were produced later in the season or not but the 4 players not represented in this grouping are Barrett, Karpel, Lindell, and Schmees.

The highlight of this set are the only card appearances (at least to my knowlege) of two tough Jewish Major Leaguers Herbert Gorman & Murray Franklin.

The cards are roughly EX (some better some worse-but no beaters) in condition with some minor wear to the corners and a few of the cards have small wrinkles, overall a used but relatively solid condition set.

I am not sure of a good price for the grouping so I will entertain any serious offers of above $500 on the group, as I have seen very few of the 1950 Hollywood team sets (compared to the 1948 & 1949 LA, and even the 1949 Hollywood sets I believe are more plentiful).
