To follow-up, here's Mordecai in a Federal League Whales uni, but it's dated 'May 2 1916' and the Cubs apparently wore Whales uniforms during the early part of that season.

I would be particularly interested in other Newark Peps images like the Roush posted earlier. That uniform style in particular.
