Default tom barker value question

Posted By: leon

Hey Andy,
Everything is supply and demand when value is determined. The Tom Barker game has mediocre demand and a fair amount of supply. I bought a National Game set (which is sort of similar) not too long ago and it was about book price (Big SCD). I suspect that the Tom Barker game would be the same. If I remember correctly, as I don't have my book with me, there is a Jackson, a Cobb, a Wagner, and maybe a Matty. I would look at the condition of those cards and then make my buying decision. If you do sell some of them don't expect a feeding frenzy like on some of the candy cards or Old Judges. It won't happen. My guess, again without seeing a book, would be about 2k......regards

When the 2006 Standard Catalog is released in early September, the updated book price for the 54-card Tom Barker set in EX will be: $2,000.
