Bad fake. You can tell the back and front are pasted into white card stock. At the wear spots on corners you can see the underlying white poking out. Not even a good fake.

Not even close. The dead giveaway (besides the ? Auth sticker) is the white corners. The artificial wear has exposed a white card stock which is definitely not authentic.
Edit: Rhett beat me to it.

thanks for the information, wasn't going to bid, but it always fascinates me to see these types of ungraded cards. Isn't there something ebay or someone could do? He lists it as an original and graded by psa

The auction is currently at $343 with two hours to go. A 52T Mantle sitting a $343 should be a pretty good indicator of authenticity.

I'd love to get $343 for an obvious fake.

While that is true, an even better deal would be getting a real 52T Mantle for $343.

You would think that they could get better centering on these fakes.

Pretty sure that is a new trend in counterfeit/fake sales. Trimming off center or shifting the card does give lead to the card being authentic over fake. It is reverse psychology in a way.
