Default "Old Timers" cards on ebay all fakes

Posted By: Bob

I know most of you can recognize that these are reproductions but the guy has added paper to the some of the backs and "aged" them. Any E90-1 you look at which has a "20" number upper left area came from a reprinted set. Amazing how these bozos never find Dooins and Bushs at these garage sales, only Youngs, Mattys and Wagners.
First red flag: all sales are final.
Second: colors are off.
Third: the "aging" looks recently done.

There's more and more of these going down to the hammer. It's a shame we can no longer have fun with these crooks. Thankyou eBay

Bad fakes at that. The font is wrong, the colors are faded, something is screwed up on the back. But they still could fool someone not familiar with them.

I usually tend to read these posts about bogus cards. It makes me realize that the autograph market is not the only thing that is so badly messed up in this hobby/business.
