Default one of the things that has bugged me

Posted By: leon

Ok folks.....felt like talking about a common problem in our hobby (at least for me). It seems as though some folks will email back and forth with you very well until you ask them some question they don't feel like answering....usually in relation to an offer of some type, they don't want to accept. That is fine. But why is it that they forget about ignoring you (quickly) when they want something? I have had it happen several times to me. Can't someone just politely say NO thanks, or thanks but no thanks, or eat s*** and die, or something? It never fails those same folks will talk to you later or make you offers without thinking about the fact they blew you off...remember folks....what comes around always goes around....be nice and answer people....even if it is a stupid offer that you would never accept. Tell them "no thanks".....best regards all (and I am not talking about making stupid offers that get ignored)

A simple "Thanks" or other polite acknowledgement always goes a long way. As I know I appreceate such acknowledgement, I also offer propor acknowledgement. Most people are curteous, but there are those who are not. It is because of the second type of people, that I only do wantlists due to special circumstances. I learned a while ago, that 'wantlist' means spending an hour looking for a want, only to have the other person dismiss or want it at half the price of eBay. I beleive the applicable phrase, is '**** that.'

Wait a second, Leon, you aren't taking about me are you? Just joking, as I know I don't have anything Leon would want.

Leon, you didn't response to my post. That's so rude. Just for that I will hurl jibes at bird-shot Lections should you ever post a pic.

First of all you David's need to put an initial after your names...otherwise, I will be cross eyed when speaking with ya'll.....I will post a pic of the bird shot Lections, if possible with the Network54 Gods, tonight.....and as far as answering these posts I guess that is a catch 22. Ya'll really don't want me to be the "never ending" responder.....otherwise, this thread will get extremely tiring .....even more so than my normal posts.....later

...I hope you didn't mail me an offer for a Matty card recently. I've been in Raleigh NC for the past several days, and won't be back to Seattle until Monday. I don't have access to my regular e-mail until then (work e-mail). If it's me, forgive me.

Wasn't you.....but I am sure several on this board are guilty of it....no names mentioned but you know who you are....also, for sake of not having this thread go too much farther I will just email any other responses to folks if need be....it was just a pet peeve and I mentioned it...but since you are not at your email, Dan, I thought I would heed my own plea and answer you... I feel better about getting it off my chest....best regards ya'll.....
