Default Reach baseball sign

Picking this old Reach sign up at the end of the week. Its beautiful.
The current owner states that it was handed down to him some years ago by his uncle.
There was a manufacturer here in Southern Ontario that used to make baseballs and softballs for Reach, so Im hoping this sign may have travelled down the line from there...
I cant see someone constructing this piece for their own liking...
Has anyone ever seen a sign such as this before?

I'm guessing fantasy piece. It looks brand new.

There is wear around the edges on the outside and on the inside of the inlay, as well as the paint itself.
Even if it is a fantasy piece, which I cant see someone constructing it as such, its well worth the small price for my baseball collection...

I agree, I think most likely a fantasy piece. The batter is left handed and has a more modern stance than reach guides from pre 1900, where the batter was right handed, with a lower bat position. Later reach guides did not feature a batter as part of the cover design. However, i also agree with the op that it is a nice display item
