New Cap Anson Biography

There is a brand new biography of Cap Anson out. If I am correct, there hasn't been a bio of Anson in a long, long time. I have not read it yet, but do know the author. The author is a longwinded, enthusiastic and incredibly meticulous person: whether this results in in a worthwhile read would only be conjecture on my part (I always hope for pictures). David is right, it's the first in a long, long time. The only previous book-length biography of Anson is Cap's own book, "A Ball Player's Career," published in 1900. Half of that book is about Spalding's world tour, with <sarcasm>thrilling, suspenseful</sarcasm> chapters on visiting the Pyramids and socializing on the boat.

I have an original copy of that book (era publishing Chicago) dated 1900, fair to good condition, wat do you think it's worth?
