Default Help dating a Stall & Dean glove

I've had this glove for a while and am trying to learn a little more about it.

It says:

Stall & Dean
Brockton, MA
Old _ _ _ _ate
80_ _

I can't for the life of me make out the last word or the rest of the model number. If I had to guess I'd say it's 22 but I couldn't find anything on an 8022. I've been to all the gallery sites and looked high and low at every model starting in 80 and none of them seem to match up with the stitching, web, grommets, etc. Anyone have any clue? Thanks for looking!

You've come to the wrong place for dating help. We're grown men obsessively collecting baseball cards, for God's sake!

Oh, never mind. That isn't what you meant.

Likely 1930s with a replaced web. The original lacing would've been leather.

Perhaps a true "Glove Guy" can pinpoint it more. There are a few who frequent this site. I know some of them possess Stall & Dean Catalogs which might picture this model glove.

Have you tried putting a little water on that area to see if the words come out brighter or crisper? Also, have you tried putting a piece of paper over that area and then taking a pencil and using the side of the lead go over that area? Maybe that might help bring out some more of the missing letters or numbers.
