Default Stolen Cards

Unfortunately, it appears that someone we have had helping us has stolen several of my cards. Originally I thought our enterprising 1 and 2 year olds may have squirreled them away somewhere (they seem to be able to get anywhere), but with none showing up, and other things that are way less likely to be able to be found by the kids missing, I am pretty sure they have been taken. With that, if those in the north Texas area could keep an eye out for the following, I would greatly appreciate it. Not all are very valuable, but the Highlanders T206 was complete, and I had just gotten the Wood (didn't even have time to scan and put on my E103 thread).

The Skowron is in a BVG 4.5 Holder. I bought it at a few others from Frank about 18 months ago.

There is also Silver and Gold coins missing if on the off chance it was sold as a lot (not a lot of hope there).

Thank you for looking!

Sorry to hear about this. If you live in Texas, isn't it legal to just shoot the thieves?? Good luck in your recovery!

Well, thieves should definitely be punished harshly if not shot.

David- Good luck on finding any of these and please let us know if you do.

I would let a few of the local card shops know, chances are they will try and sell them locally rather than online. Sorry to hear of this.

Same with forgers and counterfeiters... if not shot, at least lined up so everyone they screwed over could take a few pokes at 'em.

Thanks folks, I plan on doing just that (letting local card shops know, not shooting, as that would be frowned upon).

Kind of just sticks in my craw.

Detective called today and has put the serial numbers in their system, so if they pop up at a pawn shop, they’ll be notified. Fingers crossed...

Good luck, search the pawn and coin shops. I had a 1940 Playball Dickey card stolen that was sent in a package from my apartment mailbox. I called the 2 coinshops in the F'ville N.C. area and 2 weeks later, one shop called me back with it, as someone tried to sell it for bottom dollar. I do know in Louisiana, the pawn shops will not look for missing personal items without a valid police report, as I had a black onyx ring that was missing and later showed up in my truck.

I have a show on the 26th and 27th in Plano so I would suggest walking around that as well as you never know what might wander in.

Regards
Rich
