Default Steve Miller (the musician)

...in keeping with my posting on classic rock icons . . . .

Came across this article about Steve Miller. Really cool article. I'm not even the hugest fan, but this is really good stuff. Seems like a great guy.

His lyrics were so bad they almost sounded like parodies, but the man had a gift for a catchy pop tune, and always seemed pretty normal for a rock star.

Managed to have a decades long career doing what he loved, made a shitload of money, and basically on a personal flew beneath the radar screen of celebrity. Sounds wonderful to me.
