I recently have been seeing this card graded by a company called CSA on eBay . Specifically a card graded a 10. Does anybody know about them or their grading "standards"? Obviously how do they stack up against PSA or SGC ?
Thanks for any help.

I think CSA is a Canadian grading company. Check the hockey section of eBay, and you'll probably see as many or more cards graded by CSA than by Beckett, SGC or PSA.

This is also what I have heard about hockey. I know they are considered garbage when it comes to baseball and there cards sell for less than raw unless you find a sucker that has not heard of them. A friend who did not know better bought a amazing looking CSA 9 1961 Topps Mickey Mantle that was obviously trimmed. Ended up selling it with full disclosure for way less than half of purchase price.

I have always known KSA to be a Canadian grading company....I was under the impression that CSA (a different company) was a company from the US.

Default Csa

CSA's mailing address is in the US. Their web indicates they are located "...west of Columbus, OH". Here is their link:

http://www.csacards.com/index.htm

Their email address is an "AOL" email. Obviously, I am a little wary of graders that still use an AOL address....particularly when their web indicates the last time they updated their web was 2007.

Ah, that's who I was thinking of, KSA, not CSA. Sorry about that.

I personally would only buy SGC or PSA to have a feeling that it is graded properly.
