5. Collecting interest - T206 The Monster, Only collect graded SGC50 or better, currently at about 46% complete.

6. Family- Wife and German Shepherd (Lambeau)

7. How long in hobby- 5 yrs, back as an adult, but started collecting cards when I was about 5 or 6 (back in the early 70s), then sold entire collection, much of what my dad gave me that he collected as a kid and still had in great shape (48 Leaf, 33 Goudey, 48-51 Bowman including both Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays rookie cards and 48 Leaf Paige, Dimaggio, 33 Goudey Ruth & Gehrig). Sold entire collection in mid 1980s for money to go to college. Boy I wish I still had that 51 Bowman Mantle, it was in great shape.

8. Other interests - Green Bay Packers, Golf, Collect vintage equipment (especially leather football helmets), autographs.

9. Do you attend shows? Haven't been to a show in for a long, long time.

3. Day job- Average Adjuster (my actual title, believe it or not), which means I adjust and handle damage claims on ocean going vessels, tugs & barges and cruise ships.

9. Do you attend shows? When I was a kid I used to go to the Midwest Collectors Convention (name might not be exact) at the Plymouh Hilton each July. That was a great show! Now just once in a while (not many good ones in MI). I have a lot more fun at auctions and estate sales!

5. Collecting interest - Pre-War cards, but mostly T206, T205, T207 and various HOF pre-war cards. I also collect sets from 2004, my son's birth year. I also collect baseball autographs - focusing on HOFer and autographed baseballs. I also collect anything related to the Phillies.

6. Family - New wife, two step daughters and one son. Kids have two rats without tails (hampsters) and two hermit crabs.

7. How long in hobby - Since five years old, but about a nine year hiatus during college, grad school and starting my career..

8. Other interests - hunting, cooking, wine collecting, tinkering with my 1967 427 Ford Cobra (a kit car, but dang sweet!)

9. Do you attend shows? Have done locals, but never the national. I have donethe Philly show in the past, but missed the last few because life got in the way.

7. How long collecting - Since I was 10. I may have had periods of not buying, but I have always had cards.

8. Other Interests - Red Sox fanatic since late 60's. Always wore #8 in little league. Bat/throw left, pitcher all they way into college (NAIA). Even got sent home from HS basketball practice for the 1978 Yankme/Sox playoff game (BFD).

9. Do you attend shows? - Used to in great numbers, now only local little shows. Ebay has really changed the landscape. Been to one National (1986 in Arlington - same weekend as a Sox/Rangers series - Clemens threw 8 innings on no-hit that Sunday).

5. Collecting interest - I spent last winter making a list of the greatest St. Louis Cardinals at each position, and am trying to acquire their cards. I also am working on acquiring every card of Lou Brock during his playing times, and up to around 250 unique items.

6. Family- Wife, 4 daughters, one son and one foster son.

7. How long in hobby- I started collecting in 1971 and have not stopped.

8. Other interests - Bears football. Playing coaching and refereeing soccer. Playing basketball and softball but not as well as I used to. Outside fun with the family and friends. My church - www.warsawwesleyan.com. Facebook.

9. Do you attend shows? No local shows in years, most Nationals in Chicago and Cleveland.

Collecting Interest - Pinkerton postcards, (have about 26/30), Exhibit cards, Wide Pens, Fine Pens, Worch Cigar, Dietsche postcards and Cuban cards

Family - Wife of 15 years and four kids, 12, 10, 6 and 3 mos.

How long in hobby - about 5 years as an adult.

Other interests - I have a few rental properties - but mostly just spending time with the family

I got to last year's National and go to the Philly show once in while.

9. Do you attend shows? I am blessed that I am located 10 minutes from the I-X center in Cleveland where the National is held and 10 minutes from Strongsville where the great Strongsville shows were/are held. I attend these regularly.

9. Do you attend shows? Many years ago, Albany NY pre-76 shows (promoter Ed Keetz), a couple Tacoma Dome shows, and as often as I can get to the WSSCA Seattle shows! But overall, it's this site and eBay.

7. How long in hobby- aprox 36 years. I started cleaning the local barbershop when I was 9 for a quarter(similiar to Leon's quarter). I would then go across the street and get 2 packs of 1974 topps and a piece of candy.

5. Collecting interest- Autographed BBCs of everyone who has played for the Baltimore Orioles, any old baseball item that catches my fancy that I can afford.
6. Family- Wife and three sons, 17,15,13 (Why I can’t afford much anymore!)
7. How long in hobby- Sold most of my childhood collection in late 1970's, got the bug again in 1985, slowed down some as each son got older, this site helps me get my fill.
8. Other interests- Being an amateur taxi driver to school, track, baseball, band and scouts takes up most of my “other time.”
9. Do you attend shows?- Almost every weekend in the 1980's - 90's, been to a few of the Chantilly shows and was at the National in Baltimore this year where I got a neat Net54 pin.

9. Do you attend shows? Went to Baltimore last summer and hoping to make it to Chicago, will be in Baltimore all week 2012 !!

How long in the Hobby: Bought my first baseball cards in 1952. Had hundreds of stars from 52 - 58 and gave them all to my sister-laws little brother. Caught the collecting bug again in 1982. Started collecting cards of my youth in 84 and haven't stopped. Love set building.

Do you attend shows: Always make the Shriner's Wilmington,Ma. show and some local shows. Will be attending my first National that is held close to the East Coast.

7. How long in hobby- re-discovered T206s about 3 months ago. I am now dealing with the addiction.... Collected when I was a kid and am now happily watching my kids go through them.

8. Other interests- Family stuff. NYC sports, lots of music (Wilco and lots of alt rock, Dylan and some classic rock, Springsteen always, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and whatever good hip hop / rap my kids listen to.)

4. Location- Southern Minnesota. About an hour south of the Twin Cities.

5. Collecting interest- Cards, Photo's, Publications for all Boston Sports. Pre War for Red Sox, Bruins. Love the Patriots but they only go back to 60.

6. Family- My best girl since 84.

7. How long in hobby- Was a baseball pack collecting fool as a kid (65-74). Been spending most of my discretionary income on the hobby since 79.

8. Other interests- Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoe. For sure in the right place for it. Bike riding, try to do the RAGBRAI each summer. Running.

9. Do you attend shows?- Loved the St.Louis shows at the Holidome from 79 to the 90's. KC shows in the 80's and attended the 07 (Clev) and 08 (Chi) Nationals
