Here's hoping none of the board's tranvestites (sic) are offended by the title of the thread.

Never saw these guys play but was told that they were a comedy act that played before many PCL games in the 50s and 60s. Baseball in drag...what a concept. I actually have a Cuties pennant somewhere. Now I am motivated to look for it. Funny stuff.

I think they're "skirting" League uniform policies. Isn't there a "dress" code?

I think Shoeless Moe should change his handle to Tanner Boyle.

A little off topic here, but I drank beers with Christopher Penn while he was in town filming Too Wong Foo...And man could that guy drink. The bartender shut him off so he went outside and made himself throw up...came back inside and said he was good to go.

Tanner Boyle: My dad says the only people who put ketchup on hot dogs are mental patients, and Texans.

Default There are only eight players shown

Did someone play more than one position at the same time? And if someone was a switch hitter, was it considered they could swing both ways? Wasn't the league commissioners name Sheeza Mann?

(sorry, just had to get those out of my system)

Having nothing better to do, I read the fine print of the terms of auction. What's with the seller not shipping to Italy?

Chris Penn's death was a tremendous disappointment.....he should have won an academy award for Resevoir Dogs.

Great catch on that!! My guess is it stems from the Great Canadian-Italian War of 1926, and he can't let go.........I don't blame him.......what did Sean Connery say...."just like a Wop to bring a knife to a gunfight", of course Nitti gave 007 the business so possession arrow points to Team Italia there.

Thanks for the heads up on this auction. I thought the photo was cool and won it.
