Default Vintage catchers mask: unknown manufacturer

Firstly, thankyou for letting me use this forum and reading this post. I recently purchased this mask at an auction and i am trying to identify it. I have purchased a book called Antique Sports Uniforms and Equipment, and it has a few pictures of masks which are close to what i have. Just wondering if anyone has seen a mask like this. It has no markings as of manufacturer and the head strapping is no longer present. The leather is in good shape. The stuffing appears to be animal(horse hair maybe). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Dan.
