One of my absolutely favorite cards. The '58 ALL Star subset is great and Mickey's card is the pick of the litter! That's a beauty.

Anything Mick is my favorite, but here is a ball, my signed HOF book, and a photo, all from my first meeting with the mick in the late 80's. I couldn't get the smile off my face for several weeks. LOL

Here's my best unsigned Mantle. Had a really nice signed Bowman rookie but I sold it circa 2013 when I was starting law school.

I have a lot of Mantles as he was a regular on the NY show circuit all through the 80's and was lucky enough to see him a truck load of times for anywhere from $7 to $15 per item. I am sure, I have over 100 of him. Here are a few of my favorite items

Great stuff, guys!

Regarding a signed Mantle item, here's my best piece...July 15, 1951, signed back of menu from road trip in Detroit. Last day he wore #6, as he was sent down to AAA, this same day.

Default The Mick

Great idea for a thread Charlie, that awesome Mick signed auto book for Miss P. Rico is one of my all timers sir. For me looking to get an early Mick for the collection. As of now only have this single signed auto acquired from a very helpful "54" member. Enclosed link from a Sterling auction way back when, IF only there was a way to actually verify the write up? Keep it coming boys, beautiful pieces.

Very impressive memorabilia guys.

A few of mine.

It's refreshing for me to be involved in a thread about authentic autographs and not forgeries.

Great looking pieces, Chris.

And to the other posters, more great stuff and thanks for sharing!!

I don't do a lot of autographs but have quite a few JR Burdick letters. Here he just signed "Jeff"

For me it's a tie lol, here is a beautiful bold Don/Mick 8x10 with my favorite Donnie signature style:

However, this one means more. I have looked for a "To Ryan" Mantle photo/ball for 7+ years. Last year I saw a "lot" of several signed photos, and it looked like the Mantle was personalized so I checked it out. I couldn't believe my eyes! Even better, when it showed up it was an 11x14, not an 8x10 like the listing said!

If anyone ever sees any "To Ryan" stuff, keep me in mind!

Wonder why Mattingly is depicted with a "29" on his knob?

Not sure why there is a 29, but Mattingly did often put different numbers on the knobs of his bat, because when he was at the height of his popularity his bats often were stolen or went "missing".

More great stuff guys; Love seeing them. I have always wondered something about Mantle's signing habits. He often signed "Best Wishes" on a lot of the pieces he signed from early on until he passed in 1995. Has anyone ever seen an authentic item with the "t" in "Best" crossed? I have never seen him cross the t on anything and wonder if anyone has. If you have a piece signed like that please post it!
Thanks everyone and thank you again for posting and keeping this thread going with all the beautiful signed Mantle items!
