Default Southern and Texas League Cards

Posted By: Little Lee

I was wondering what card sets besides the T-206s that have cards for players from the Southern and Texas League?

Where the commons would cost about the same or less, as the commons in the T-206 set.

I guess I would be looking for any thing up to the end of the Sixties. I know this is after the war, but my limited budget, causes me to case a larger net, in persuit of my catch.

Thanks, Little Lee

Check out the T210 Old Mills. That should keep you busy.

Would everyone leave alone t210 until I get cards I need for my player set

2 Fort Wayne players I need for set just closed at insane prices. one for $162, the other $112 and neither would grade better than 30, the maybe 40.

Hi Lee,
T210-3 is the best bet for Texas League, only good luck finding them cheap. Prices for T210's and minor league issues in general (except it seems for Zeenuts) have really taken off lately. T209's have also been getting alot of attention as well and they aren't quite as available as they used to be. I remember when T210's used to close cheap or with no bids on Ebay as recently as like a year or two ago, mostly because the condition was usually less then great, but not anymore. $20.00 or more for a T210 these days in good condition or worse is not completely unheard of. Looks like the pre-war minor league issues are finally getting their due.
