Default Most and Least Attractive T206 Cards

What's your least and most favorite based solely on looks?

I think the Bill Chappelle card is in the top ten of best looking cards. The look on Big Bill's face is priceless. I also like the Wagner card's look and the card of Black Jack Barry (portrait). Among the ugliest would be Little Nemo Stephens and the Tris Speaker as well as Kaiser Wilhelm (hands at chest). Wilhelm looks more like he is praying than playing baseball.

How about you?

Wow, no responses?

To me, some of the most attractive T206's are the portraits. The artwork is just beautiful-truly amazing. Especially considering how old these cards are. Here are a few that I really like.......

I like the background on this one, and he's got a good look in his eyes.

I like the horizontals, and again I like the background

Default T206

I think the Hal Chase Pink Portrait is gorgeous. I also love the Cobb red portrait. I think it kinda represents the fiery way he played...

Love the horizontals too. I also love the Walter Johnson portrait

Ya know for all of these guys in the set being a T206 Player is pretty much a "Hall Of Fame" in itself!

FAVORITE: Probably Tim Jordan (w/bat)--I love the background colors on this card, especially in high grade.

Runner-up is the only mustache in the bunch John Titus (it was also my first T206 card (and the second pre-war card ever, the first being a '33 Goudey pepper Martin)).

LEAST FAVORITE: Sleepy Bill Burns (complete w/ glove on wrong hand)

For whatever reason this card literally makes me angry every time I see it, I don't really know why it bothers me so much but I wish it didn't exist!

Default Favorite T206

Some of my favorites are the Chase poses, the Cobb poses, Zack Wheat, the Johnny Evers poses, Red Ames (hands at chest), Larry Doyle (throwing), and many others.

Some of my least favorites are the obscure minor leaguer portraits. Some of the cards look very similar to other cards and some of the players never played in the majors so less interesting to me.
