Default T206 Knight with Bat Variation???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/T206-John-Kn...item45fee127f4

The current auction on Ebay is for a Knight with bat card graded by BVG at the 7 level. The interesting aspect of this card are the uniform letters which are blue. I do not recall seeing this coloring before. Has anyone else seen blue letters on this card or any other NEW YORK uniform from the T206 set before?

The blue is the holder not the card.

It looks to me more like the flash of the camera has caused that part of the card to appear blue. Look at the "N" and the "E" in NEW YORK.......those appear black to me.

I think it's just the flash causing that effect.

Frank,

I found this Peaches Graham scan in my collection and think it better illustrates the phenomenon that makes the Knight lettering look blue.

If you look at the green background above Peaches head you will see a patch of blue which is caused by a reflection off the baggie inside the BVG holder. These blue reflections can be seen throughout the front and back scans of the Graham and that is what you see on the lettering of the Knight card in question.

Those baggies suck in scans
