1933 Jimmy Fox (with misspelling)?
Hi, I found this card in a old book this morning. Looks like a 1933 Jimmie Foxx card with his name misspelled as Fox on the front. Any idea what set this card is from or how to find out value?

Nice card - it's a Jimmie Foxx from the 1933 Eclipse set. They're harder to find than other 1930s sets like Goudey, etc. The Fox misspelling doesn't add anything to it since they were all spelled incorrectly - I don't believe there was a correction on it.

As Cozumeleno wrote, your Fox is from the 1933 Eclipse set, catalog number r337. Yours is in pretty good shape for this issue.

R337 routinely places on the list of ugly cards...many having crude drawingd..ruth for example. Your fox bears decent resemblance. Id say its worth a few hundred.
