Bought a rare t202 through the mail-"Too Late for devlin", with devlin with the Giants on one end and matty on the other. Matty's eyes rested on his cheeks.
The devlin-Giants cards really are hard to find.

Sometimes i get so disgusted I don't even return a card.

I took it to a convention, and offered it in trade to some boxing guys for a Jack Johnson-Jeffreys fight photo card (dirty and beat-up). They examined my offering for 5 minutes under a loupe, and then said they'd trade. They were afraid it was phoney.
All you dealer guys are crazy, I swear...

I know, it was worth more than that...but not to me.

There is a fine line between "rare print freak" and "just plain ugly garbage card". The value is determined by the people who are willing to pay for it. I have a large collection of stuff that most of you guys would laugh at, but to me it's really cool.

Scott- I accept your tongue in cheek comment about the Isbell card but if you examine the Shoeless Joes, Keeler throwings, Browns' and Phelps' (among others) you'll see that this is a common problem in the set. Quality control was not an issue in cards which were being given out to kids.

I have had several cards like this - my favorite was a t206 Beckley where he had two sets of eyes and a mouth that looked like something out of "Alien". I also once saw someone selling two t206 Johnson portraits at the same time where it really looked like Johnson was looking in two different directions!
