verry interesting , so you work on this set since the 70's .... before my birth lol

It is a long way travel to build a t206 set, in the last time i bought many cards but i will probably take a little brake in the nexts months.. pderhaps buy a couple t206 a month but no major purchase until the end of the year....

I will probably collect T206 for the rest of my life too...

Nice double-entendre

I always find it interesting to hear how a collector has gone about building his T206 set. The T206 nay-sayers have valid points, but there are so many interesting ways to go about building this set, and other than those who are building 'by flip number', I haven't seen two people yet who have gone about it the same way. And once you have attained your magic number, you can then replace cards to add additional nuances (upgrade, tough backs, etc.)

For this year, my magic number is 25%. I would like to have 25% (131 cards) of the 522 cards set by the end of 2012.

Thanks, I really just made the decision to go for it, while I wait for more signed HoF '39s to pop up.

I've been more of a hodge Podge kind of collector. Some autos, some rookies, some HOF, football and baseball vintage and modern. Really never tied myself down to a "type" but since joining the board, I see how many people have really enjoyed the monster, so why not go for it. I can't imagine ever buying a Wagner, and probably not a Plank, but everything else is attainable I figure, if I give it a decade or two.

Yes almost everything is attainnable !

Some card is harder than other , like the wagner, but if we keep fixed on a goal, everything can be happen

anyway a nice decision you took to build a T206 set with all his way to collect.
