Above post states that each kid received a 1,000 card lot of themselves. They must still have them, I don't think they would have thrown them out.

First a 1969 Bowie Kuhn card that I had no awareness of and now the 1971 Topps Winner cards that I never knew about. This site is fantastic for this sort of thing and makes me keep coming back.
I never even knew that a Topps contest even existed when I was 11 in 71. I would have done that in a heartbeat. Cool things folks, keep them coming.
