Default My display case finally feels 'finished'

I am enjoying a (probably brief) feeling of completion with my display case/ collection so thought it would be a good time to share with everyone here. Next up, I want to film a video for youtube showing my 'man cave' / collectible room - see my youtube videos here, https://www.youtube.com/user/dzolot

Looks fantastic! Thanks for rotating, that helps to appreciate it on a tablet. Does dust still get in there, enough to annoy you? I always love looking at your collection, each shelf is organized and displayed perfectly. Get that man cave video up!

Jordan is a PSA 9 and you paid $450 for it. Awesome display. I'm looking to do a similar thing.

Nice display.
Where did you get those graded card stands? I like that they have tilt, unlike the ones PSA sells.

Hi Marty. There's actually two different kinds that I use. Believe I got them on eBay and at card shows. Try searching for card stand or baseball card stand on eBay and see what comes up.

Only one person took a guess on the second question - what is the grade of the Jordan rookie and how much did I pay? Hint: I bought it in 2002/ 03.

I'm guessing $550 for the PSA 9.

Would love to see a new card showcase video. It's been a while, you've definitely got one of the best card collections on YouTube.

Nice display case. I always wanted to do this, but I'm afraid my items would get faded fast. I've tried UV-coating the glass before, but then it becomes too dark and reflective even.

Must have misread.
Thought you might have bought Jordan raw and graded it.
I did that years ago and came out at high grade. I sold it though.

This would be a really, really nice display, if it also had a WaJo in it (unless WaJo is the card behind the Wagner)!

I'm going to agree with George that the card behind Wagner is a T206 Cobb Bat on Shoulder - somewhere in the neighborhood of PSA 5.

And the prize goes to...
Geor952 for guessing Cobb, bat on shoulder.

You are VERY close on the Jordan question. If no one guesses the exact price by Wednesday, noon NY time, I will give the prize to the closest guess without going over the actual price paid. And yes, you can guess a second time

Once again, I am amazed at the vast knowledge of the members on this chat board! What a gift to our hobby!!

Catching up on some projects, including making good on these prizes I owe. I paid $1,000 for the Jordan psa 9, so the Winner is vintagehofrookies.

Please pm me your address and some collecting interests so I can send you a prize!!

Looks like you have a lot of nice unopened material. I love the 1980-81 Topps Bkb Box! Do I see a 1975 cello pack with a Brett RC on top?

What other unopened material is in the case? It's difficult to discern from the photos.

Thank you Chris, really appreciate it. Yes, that's a 75 with Brett on top. I have a bunch of other unopened packs in there - 86 fleer basketball, 69 basketball, and a bunch of baseball from the 60's and 70's. Also some other stars on the front or back of packs. If you're interested at all, I made a YouTube video of all the packs and sealed boxes I had as of a few years ago - look up dzolot on YouTube and it will come up.
