Default Signed By Wife?

I know it is always mentioned on here that it is best to check the autograph and not focus on the cert. Is the below signed by Faber or his wife? I believe it to be a wife autograph:

This is a good write up regarding Faber. It was written by Jimmy Spence before he left PSA/DNA.

Looks very similar to this which I believe to be the work of his wife:

An interesting article. I loved the line 'posthumous death precludes him from signing...' Translates to post death death. It sounds like he needed a good editor.

If what he states in the article is the case, then it was signed by his wife.

The article also begins with the sentence, "Urban Clarence "Red" Faber was born in Cascade, Iowa on September 6, 1988."
1988, huh? Must have been the editor's day off.

If the "r" in Faber more closely resembles an "i" its the wife , Faber's signature should have a clearly formed "r", I have seen examples of his wife signing for him as far back as the 1950's so its not ill heath. Also he was not born in 1988. Cheers

Yep, that's his wife. The good news is that more and more people know what his wife's sig looks like and if you go out, even on ebay, you'll find a higher percentage of his authentic autograph then in year's past.
