Default What's your favorite Harmon Killebrew card?

I ranked the 1965 Topps card best ......... 1960 is close behind.

What's your choice?

Has to be the 1964 Topps.

I'd hate to pitch to that face.

That face is beaming compared to this one.

I've always liked the 1960 Post. Sorry, I don't have a scan.

Default some good choices

Anything but the '61 Topps. I always liked the 1965 and 1969 Topps the best overall, but also really liked the atypical pose they used in 1970 (just didn't care for the card front design):

not mine:

I like the '62 - always thought Killer had a classic power hitters swing. Also like the '70, as I like photos that show a lot of lumber. Makes me wonder where each of those bats are today.

'75 Topps - also known as the year that Harmon officially aged 30 years before our eyes.

1975 SSPC. Crazy to see him in a Royals uniform. I used to work with a guy who was married to Harmon's niece. She saw that I was into baseball and asked me if I heard of him. I started throwing out stats so she was like "so you've heard of him". Yup!

Without getting exotic, those 70s action shots always win out for me.

Peter, here's the "real McCoy." "Killer" Killebrew does appear to be all business in this pic.

'59 Topps high number. The year of his first HR title (tied with Colavito at 42, as I recall off the top of my head).

Best to all,

Larry
