Default T206 and graded "team sets"

I'm just starting to do a bit of research on the T206 cards and had a few questions...

1) is there a "preferred" grading company and why? I've always went with PSA, but I've just bought 1970's stuff.

2) for the PSA "team sets", there seems to be many missing.
For example, scrolling down here:
https://www.psacard.com/psasetregist.../t206-sets/215

There's no Washington Senators? Or Milwaukee Brewers minor league set?

I thought about collecting one or two easier team sets just to get my feet wet so any help to push me on the right path is greatly appreciated.

1) People grade cards with different TPGs for many reasons including costs, looks of the holders, grading accuracy, resale value, and the set registries. You'll have to figure out which company you prefer. I am a PSA guy, but there are plenty of SGC guys on this board. There are very few BVG guys.

2) If the PSA set registry does not yet exist, you can request for it to be added using their website once you have five PSA graded cards in the set. They will find the checklist and create the set on their registry. So since it doesn't exist yet, that means nobody else has asked for it to be created.

I have created the set registries for T51 Murad College Cards, T56 Emblem Series, T121 Sweet Caporal WWI Scenes, T6 Murad College Cabinets, and more. I can point you to the request website if you can't find it. There is a page which shows the ones that were recently requested that they're working to build as well.
