$7/8 K Maybe would be my guess. A SGC 4 went for $15,600 at REA last year. Nice card BTW!!

Damn was there a sport Jim Thorpe couldn't play? Was he the best athlete that ever lived?

Very nice card for the grade.

I have long been a Thorpe fan/collector. I know postcards are not everyone's thing, but it always blows me away that his 1912 postcards can be had for $1,000 or so while his M101-5 from four years later is worth several times that, at a minimum.

I think Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan are the only guys who could rival him.

Default Bo

Get me started on Bo. Hall of Fame should recognize how famous he was. Hall of Fame - the third word is "Fame". Bo was a monster. For his brief football career, he stacks up quite favorably or even better than Jim Brown and Barry Sanders. Incredible athlete on the baseball field as well!

I would argue Deion Sanders had best combined careers versus Bo...though running back takes more punishment then cornerbacks that cant tackle..
