Default Bats Incredible Service - John Taube

Yes, there are definitely some good people in the hobby. But too often today, its difficult to distinguish a Collector or Dealer from a wild animal stalking its next prey. So, I am always pleased to let the Net 54 community know when I have had a very good experience, like I had with John Taube, the well known bat expert.

I have to admit that at first, it was a little hard for me, having someone else tell me what I already knew I had...or thought I had. But so much information is available now that was not available to me when I bought the bats decades ago. And John has seen so many game used bats, and has such a wealth of knowledge. that I concluded that there truly was great value in his examining them.

John provided both excellent service and communication, the turnaround time was exactly as he promised, and he did absolutely everything he said he would do. When a couple of my bats did not receive the grade that I felt they deserved, John personally got on the phone and gave me additional information, and the specific reasoning for his findings. This man handles himself professionally, is honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Who would you consider the most honest, reliable, and professional dealer, authenticator, or auctioneer in the hobby?

(Posted on both the memorabilia and card side).
