Default I got so depressed yesterday about not being at the National

Posted By: Julie Vognar

that I called up Chales Conlon (one of the few reasons I subscribe to SCD) and spent $650. A common T202, 2 Goudy 1935 puzzle cards (my birth year!)--Dean, Frisch; Ott, a T206 Joss portrait ex.

I asked about 19th century stuff (which he says he's always in the market for), and he told me how hard it is to find. I told him about terry Knouse and his acceptance of endless payments (while YOU enjoy the card!). He's at ther National (Charles Conlon), but
not set up...

Anyone else feeling at loose ends?

I'm not buying anything to compensate, but I really feel the "loss"; I had no intention of going to Cleveland last year and I'd been to Anaheim the year before, but I was intending to do Chicago this year. Unfortunately, the economic slide has affected my business in the last two months enough that I couldn't justify the trip or the big $$ expenditures at the show.

Ain't no fun waiting 'round to be a millionaire
