Default Surprisingly long history of Traded cards

Already shared on postwar page but these cards go back well into the prewar days.

I had a lot of fun writing this article. I'm wondering if the N54 members here have any other sets/cards to nominate for inclusion.

Thanks so much!

Not sure if these fit but there are some 20s Exhibits depicting players in one uniform but identifying them as members of a different team, like Hornsby and if memory serves Alexander.

Would you be okay with me putting yours on the page? I'd probably drop away the PSA holder.

T205s have a couple of these - due to a trade, some David Shean and George Graham cards were printed with the Boston Rustlers and some with the Chicago Cubs.

The S74 silks John Kling shows him wearing a Cubs hat per his T205 image but with team name on the silk updated to Boston Rustlers.

The 1914 T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamps set has a lot of these. The images come from the T205 set, but many of the players have changed teams in the meantime, such as Evers to the Boston Braves. Notably, several of the team changes show players having jumped to the Federal League.

15 CJ Plank, in A's uniform but identified as with St. Louis of the Federal League.

My 27 exhibit Cobb shows him in a Detroit uniform, but list him with Philadelphia.

Thank you, Leon. I owe it to your remarkable site that I was able to go beyond my own personal expertise (1978-1983 ) and take this thing WAY back in time!
