Has anybody seen this color variation for a Detroit player?

It is unusual (its a Pitts. color combo), the Demmitt on the same piece has the normal green basepath/pennants so its not because of fading. ????

It is a color variation for sure. If it was faded in any way the normal blue would never turn purple. It is the exact same color combo of a Pittsburgh felt (purple bases, gray pennant/basepaths).

Maybe the printers mistakenly used the Pittsburgh colors on a sheet that had Detroit players??
