Default Windy City Authentics

Though I ordinarily don't do much buying on Ebay, was curious if anyone has had any dealings with Windy City Authentics on Ebay using the ID of windycityautographs? Was looking at some of their listings.

Have never heard of them, but the JSA website lists them as an authorized dealer. Which I guess means they regularly hire JSA to authenticate stuff. Plus, their eBay feedback is very good. Don't prove anything, but both are good signs.

Thanks David. I noticed that too, but as we all know, being linked to JSA isn't all it's cracked up to be. But agreed it might be a good sign, but always with a grain of salt.

His high eBay feeback says he's good about shipping and shipping the advertised product and all that. If he was selling damaged items, unreliable about shipping, unresponsive to problems, etc, he would not have that high of feedback. Also, I believe that reliability in shipping, packaging et al is an indication of overall reliability. A sign of professionalism.

I have purchased 4 items from that seller over the past 4 years. The 4 items totaled about $2000. They are all framed and matted 16X20 autographed pics. Framing and matting are very nice. His shipping id great too. Fedex and items are packed very carefully as to not allow for any damage.

As for the autos....they are all either JSA or PSA/DNA authenticated and checked out on websites. I know fraud can still occur even though there is a JSA cert wit the product, but what else can you do? Either only collect autos that you had done in person or avoid the auto scene all together?

Anyway, I have only good things to say about his business. His prices do seems lower and sometimes much lower than some other sellers for very similiar items. He will also sell off ebay for a lower price. Always a nice selling point to me!
