Did anyone else see that card for sale by London Venture? It was an E98 Wagner SGC 30. Nice front but spots of paper loss on the back. Went for 3k. A good price? Any thoughts?

It's unusual to see an e98 with large, complete corners like that.
Also, when staining is STANDARD on a particular issue, I don't think it should be looked at as a problem. I didn't see any paper loss.

I think it was worth the price.

Edited: If there is paper loss, the price was high.
I agree with Dan too that wagner is overrated.

Rob

Robert,
your right the borders were really nice and wide. I put my loop up the the screen and I think I see three spots of loss.

I was the underbidder - would have been worth every penny IMO. Oh well. That just leaves me more for Mile High.

Wagner was a great ss, but Speaker & some others are very comparable or better and DO NOT draw as much attention. So,no I think that the Wagner gig is overpriced, UNLESS I OWN THE CARD !

If we werent all a little self righteous would we ever have to talk ?

Beautiful card. Doubt that we'll see another in a long while.
