Default Justified on TV

Any fans of this show?
I watch a few series regularly but this one is my absolute favorite.
Based on Elmore Leonard's book.
One terrific show.

Yeah, great show. Probably my favorite to. Just as good or better then anything on HBO or Showtime.

FX really impresses me with a lot of the shows they are able to put on, on commercial television. AMC is not far behind.

The major networks just seem to be getting worse and worse.

FX has done some really good shows. When the Shield started, it might've been one of the best shows on tv.. Same think with Nip/Tuck, until it started getting ridiculous. Rescue Me stayed really solid all the way through... And as campy as it was, I thought the first season of American Horror Show was incredible..

Some of their comedies are lights out too.

I still haven't gotten a chance to check out Sons of Anarchy or Justified yet, but from what I've heard, I'm missing alot.. I also agree on AMC, they've had some very solid stuff lately too.

Sons of Anarchy started out a bit rough IMO, but they've really hit their stride lately. One of the rare shows I can say has gotten better and better the longer it's been on.

Justified was lights out from the beginning. Will be hard to top the last season. The character of Mags Bennett was one of the most subtly well acted villains in television history. It was actually sad to see her go.

+1
absolutely true, the actress playing Mags, Margo Martindale, won the Emmy Award, she was amazing.

Amazon is the cheapest place to get the DVD set.
And as great as season one was, season two is even better.

Elmore Leonard wrote the novella upon which the series is based and he just wrote a full length book called Raylan.
He was a guest at my local Barnes & Noble this past week. 86 years old and he is still going strong.
The interview was conducted by Mike Lupica, which was cool. He loves to comment about some TV show or movie in his Sunday sports column and if you read him regularly you know he loves Justified.
