1800s baseball photo

I picked this up on eBay a while back.

From posting it on the main board - the diamond shaped home plate dates the photo to prior to 1900.


I believe it to be original - but I am not a photography expert. I hate to give that kind of hedge on a listing... I shined the blacklight - nothing glowed and nothing looks fishy. If someone feels otherwise - let me know.


Anyway - a great baseball image for $95.

Email with any questions.... and if you would like a better front / back scan - I can do that tonight and send it off to you.

edit to add: It measures approximately 4" x 5".
