Default Old Baseball Metal Signs

Hey guys,

I came across these old signs on eBay.

The seller does not know if they are original, but I thought they looked cool as hell. We agreed on a price but I told him before I buy them I wanted some opinions as to their authenticity. I told him I would sleep on it, so here I am.

Are these fantasy pieces? Are these reproductions made to look old?

So he recently sold a Ted Williams Sign ( not sure if it's authentic ), however this is just to give you a backing of a previous sold item of his....

Here are 4 photos before I get to my signs.

He has many other NON sport signs up for sale as well.

here are the 2 I wanted.

The first sign is 28 X 10

The second sign is 48 X 14

They look pretty good to me because the two you are interested in are not of enough interest (I wouldn't think) to fake. That said, I know there area bunch of fake fenway/seals/somebody else signsout there.

That is kind of generic advertising isn't it? I agree they probably won't be valuable enough to fake. That said I think I have seen more random things that are fake than are good. Be careful. I would imagine you could better tell in person. Good luck

Look at the seller's current, sold and completed sales. They have a lot of these types of signs for sale. They also have another of the baseball sign for sale.

Joe you're right. I didn't even notice the other one stuck in the screen door. That's why I asked. Not very versed in signs but they seemed cool and unique. Thanks for the assistance like you always give me. You are the man.
