Only bid on one item and am extremely happy about securing this T206 Magee Hindu with Howe McCormick backstamp at what I thought was a bargain price. The condition doesnt bother me the Magee Hindu back is tough to find.

Added another 1917 Eppa. I have Boston Store and Merchants already. If anyone here has a Standard Biscuit I'd be highly interested!

No Grails, either full-scale or mini, for me last night, though I did win on 3 T206s I bid on.

I got the Westlake for my tiny subset of Southern Leaguers.
The Tinker is me buying the card and not the grade and I got a step closer to my run on all the Cubs.
I have wanted to get a Nick Maddox for a while now. I've been interested in him since first coming across his rookie numbers in a baseball encyclopedia in 1988 when I was 13. He's the greatest September call-up ever!!

Picked up two cards last night.

My first ever Goudey Ruth...it's very rough, faded, and graded authentic, but I'm happy to add it to the collection. I still want a #144 at some point though.

And then a PSA 10 1986 OPC Puckett. One of only two graded PSA 10, so I'm pretty excited about that.

Thanks all! Not changing my sig until I have it in my hands. I thought I was going to have to spend at least twice as much to finally land one, but luck (or the market) was on my side this time.

Pleased to land this one. I’ve watched the price really start to go up on other other Athletes and non Athletes not in one of the big 4 sports (MLB,NBA,NFL,NHL). Walt Disney (with Mickey Mouse), Einstein, Pele, Marilyn Monroe, Bobby Jones, Hulk Hogan, Josh Johnson, Mike Tyson, Ali, Abraham Lincoln, and this guy Jesse Owens as many call his 1936/37 cards a rookie but this is his 1935 card and what should be his true rookie card with a very low pop.

I won this red PX7 of WaJo with a "full face." This gives me all 4 colors - red, green, blue & brown - of WaJo with the "full face." I need the green and blue "slender face" examples to complete my WaJo PX7 set.

Good points. Owens' Kings of Speed Churchmans card has always been popular. Pele has pretty much already left the barn, so to speak. His early cards are off the charts, and even the later ones are commanding good prices. The fun with him (and Ali, for that matter) is the worldwide fame. He has some frighteningly rare cards from around the world, like this one from Israel:

Here's a fun Owens I recently found:
