on this 52 mickey mantle bowman, looks to me like the borders are too big. i own a PSA 6 mantle and tried to compare it to mine and it don't add up. See how he is holding just far away enough not to see certain things?

never buy anything on Ebay when the photo is of someone holding the item...just seems to be a consistent way to pick out less-than-desirable sellers, in my experience.

and watch out for those women with "man hands" !

He's selling it in a store and at a show and oh yeah if you bid high enough, he'll even sell it to you.

If you buy this one, I have a vintage bridge, NOT A REPRO, I'd love to sell...

Just so you can tell next time. The way to tell on that type of reprint is on the back. It is missing the last 2 lines of print at bottom...

"C.1952 Bowman Gum Division Haelan Labora-
tories, Inc. Phila 44, Pa.-Ptd. in U.S.A."

These 2 lines were replaced by "reprint" which was then erased off.

No 1952 Bowman card has wide borders like this one; and, the back really exposes
this card as a repro. But, dig his lengthy description......that amount of verbiage
always raises a "red flag".

What is really surprising is that most of the bidders are ebay "veterans" ?

that states someone emailed him saying that the borders are too wide and he looked on ebay and a 52 mantle graded by psa has the same wide borders, HA, HA ,HA. Also the 2 lines are scratched off and he don't know anything about it. He got taken and wants to unload it. Also he said someone thinks its an error card, its amazing what he comes up with.

It's a fake, a real no-brainer. Maybe he would do better if he could sell it wearing a thong and a bra like that girl selling her ex-boyfriend's cards.
