Default lucky 7 has spawned other finds!

IT seems to me that since the lucky 7 find of cobb/cobbs there has been a bunch of other finds as of lately.

I saw a binder of 30's goudeys including a lajoie...Love of the game announced a huge accumulation of complete sets...and now this recent louisiana collection trae found.

Any others?

The Kotton/Victory cards that were brought into a local New Orleans card shop, listed on Ebay, and then taken down following an offer. There was a thread about it, maybe 2 months ago.

Back 20+ years ago when I heard, through the media, about a 52 Topps Mickey Mantle card selling for, I believe, $49,000, I asked my Father about cards as did many others and that is when I obtained my 52's.

This Cobb story, even though I am up here in Canada, is all over the place as well. (T.V. Newspapers, Yahoo, Internet etc) so it's not surprising more and more finds are found everyday as once news travels, like me, people get interested.

There is still plenty of stuff out there . . .

Not that these are anything on a scale worthy of some of the recent finds, but it is always nice to get in some collections outside the standard Goudey, Topps and Bowman runs like these S74 Silks (White and Color) and Zeenuts collections that we recently picked up from two different sellers. I'll add a few images of the Zeenuts (including Nevers) and the Silks (including Mathewson):

I found 6 Krugerrands in my Mother's deposit box at the bank! I know this is off subject, but it is a true story and I'm looking to sell!

Thanks for asking Sean, and I know this is not the place. They look like they were in a time capsule, they are dated between 1975-76....Prisitine
