Default Reprint Set available on ebay

I was also trying to upgrade from photos to something better when I ran across the Bregstone set of reprints on ebay. They are spectacular even though they are reprints

Tempted to buy a set to compare to the real ones, but I hate supporting people who reprint.

Default reprints

As long as they are clearly marked, I have no problem with reprints especially when they are from such a rare set as the Bregstones. In this reprint set, there are a few additions and deletions in comparison to the checklists in hobby publication that I thought was noteworthy. My lifetime (unattainable) goal is to collect one of every Cardinals card from beginning (1882) to current year. As everyone knows, some cards are so rare/expensive that one is lucky to have a reprint (at least as a placeholder to the real thing). I would love for someone to reprint the 1954 and 1955 Hunter hot dog Cardinals. I have been collecting these for 4 decades and only have about half and many I have never even seen a photo of the card.

Seller claims to own the entire original set. Pictures on eBay look great but I suspect they may be of the originals not the reprints.

If the quality of the eBay pics is in fact representative of the reprints then I don't think this is a bad deal.

Default not marked as reprints

While the seller of this set on ebay clearly indicates they are reprints, the postcards themselves are not marked as reprints. Having never seen a real Bregstone to compare with the reprints, I am not sure how close they are to the real thing.

Default Bregstones

I own all of the Bregstone postcards displayed at http://www.sportingoregon.com/p839800559. All of them are originals except for Sallee, which is a later print and is shown because it is the only example of that player I've seen.

Have you ever seen the reprints in person? Did the eBay seller use your images?
