Default Enlighten this person please...t206 reprints

Essentially said I am the only one who thinks this and the other t206s he has are fakes and wants to know my credentials and see some proof...anybody else want to drop this guy a message? Anyone ever buy from him...seems like he has good feedback.

"To the best of my knowledge and observation, all items described as vintage are authentic, but please do your research before you bid."

Straight from the auction text.

true about the description but that print is small compared to the others...but when i pointed out that they are reprints for sure...he called me out and said I do not know what I am talking about.

I sent the seller a message that all of his T206s are artificially aged reprints.

The good news is that not a single one of those 14 cards had any bidders tonight on EBay.

You'd think that in itself, would give this guy a clue.

Only owning 8 of these to call me a novice is an understatement, but how do you know they are re-prints?

The seller replied:

"And darned good ones, too, I might add!

Thank you SO much for emailing me! I love the way decent people on eBay stick together. Yours was the fourth email in the last hour and I just ended all the auctions. Appreciate it again!"

Thank you everyone...he took them down and is trying to get his money back from the person who sold them to him. He seems to be an honest seller and has good feedback.

I wasn't sure whether his response was genuine or sarcastic. I'm glad to hear that it was genuine.

Default eBay

No he is sincere. We had emailed back & forth and he says he just did not know. He got duped by the person that sold the cards to him and he feels that person did not know either.

He has good feedback and he did the right thing. Kudos to seller....

I just about fell out of my chair reading this. I am stunned somebody was actually mistakenly selling reprints - and had the character to take them down when informed.

I know! That's why I was so skeptical of the tone of the response. But as other members have said, it's nice to know there is still some honesty on eBay.
