Default Matty horizontal sunset e-cards

I have recently seen three 1909 Mathewson cards - the E92, the E101, and the E105 - all with the very same front picture - that beautiful horizontal arm extended throwing in front of a wonderful colorful sunset backdrop.

My knowledge is very limited in the caramel issues, but do the 3 issues indeed have the same front? Or am I looking at perhaps mis-labeled cards from PSA? Are there more e-designation Matty cards with the same front - maybe 4 or more?

What is the rarity ranking of all these Matty cards? And do they all have different backs (I assume, yes) - how do all the backs differ?

Thanks, steve

They all have the same front. The same front is also used for the E102 set. I believe the image is ever-so-slightly smaller on the E105s, but it is hardly noticeable.

You can also throw D303 and E106 in there for the matty horizontals. Personally I would rank them along with their set ranking, as to rarity.

Steve - I love the Matty horizontal image - I just upgraded mine and posted my old one on the BST for what it cost me, if you are looking to pick one up.

I'd add that even though the 4 E92 sets are all under the same ACC designation, they certainly are very different issues.

Default T216's also use it.

In addition to all the above caramel cards already mentioned as using this front, T-216 People's Tobacco (Kotton, MINO, VE) also use this Matty pose.

Default Bruce

The Mello Mint is very sweet but that Kotton is truly amazing.... T216 is my second favorite issue. Kotton, Mino and Virginia Extra-doesn't get much better than than that.

David - that's brilliant - you probably can go all the way out with his arm for the perfect effect.

Maybe we can get Graig Kreindler to paint it!
