I can't envision a case where a seller with "bigpoppa" in his name would ever sell anything that was not authentic.

The seller does NOT feel the need for a photo. After all, his grandfather got it, so it MUST be REAL

He said it's never been exposed to light, so I suppose he can't take a picture.

Even though there's no return, you can feel confident bidding,he has a 47 positive feedback.
And he's even throwing in the display case for free!

He has "taken it to local memorbilia [sic] dealers and local shows," but the ball has never been exposed to light or the "elements." Is he thinking mostly of Boron and Xenon? Chances are good the ball has managed to duck those elements, but I'm a tad suspicious of the rest of bigpoppa's tale o' the family heirloom.

Default cinched it

I think this line cinched it for me-

"There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this signature is true."
