Default post office horror story

I bought 2 t206 cards on bay. shipped them to my work address. Mail man delivers it to another office, he thought it was for the last people who occupied my office space. checked with previous occupier, no luck.

Mail man delivered my mail to an address that was not on my package. are you kidding me? contacted the seller, has not returned any of my emails.

thoughts?

Yeah, unfortunately the seller is probably looking at an on-line report that says "Delivered", and is shaking his head right now.

Mistakes happen, but it is most sellers only line of defense nowadays. They'd be getting shaken down left and right, if it wasn't the case.

He is better off NOT responding and letting Ebay/Paypal handle it. If you file a claim, the seller will most likely win, but Ebay will often pay off the buyer to keep them happy.

There's a burgeoning number of people on Ebay exploiting this loophole and getting lots of free merchandise, that Ebay doesn't seem too worried about for some reason.

Default mailman

File a written complaint with the Postmaster. Make an appointment with the Postmaster and have a face to face meeting with the Postmaster and the mailman. This won't get your cards back but it may teach your mailman a lesson. Maybe your mailman will miraculously come up with your package.

What is up with USPS recently? I won 5 1921 E121-80 cards from a guy in West Virginia. Cards originally went to New Jersey from there then to A sorting facility in LA with a reputation for losing packages to another sorting facility in LA with the same reputation, through San Bernardino and finally got delivered in good shape 10 days after the cards were shipped.

My wife has a package that tracking says hasn't moved for 5 days in New Jersey. Fortunately not a lot of money involved but why is the package stuck in New Jersey?

Never had that problem with USPS but have it with Fed Ex almost every time. When something gets sent to my home address they will deliver it to my business address and when it is sent to my business address they will deliver it to my home address. I gave up when I asked the driver why he was delivering a package that I knew was sent to another address. His response was to show me the package and someone had scribbled out my business address and put in my home address. I try to avoid them but some places only use them.

Interesting. I recently had a tracked package from Argentina get to the Los Angeles facility then instead of to me into a black hole facility in New York. Poof. Gone.

Exactly what seems to be happening to my wife's package. It is stuck in thr Jersey Ciity, new Jersey sorting facility and hasn't moved. The ball cards I had also went throught there and were stuck for a couple of days before they got stuck in LA. Makes you not trust USPS.

I did pay with pay pal. Im not blaming the seller at all. I just want to get in touch with him in case the cards are returned to him. I told him I would pay for shipping again. Would just like to hear from the guy.
