Joann,

Thank you for the encouragement and helpfulness you gave all of us on navigating the new forum. Your "Things we like about the new forum" thread exemplified your positive attitude. And I still believe, that in time, you would've convinced Jim Crandell to make the leap (to the new forum, that is!) My only regret is that we didn't get to test the "What happens if your inbox gets flooded with over 50 PM's?" question. lol!!!

Best Regards

Thanks for the kind words about JK. Anyone here who slams JoAnn for any reason is a total miscreant. She is not only knowledgeable about cards but in person is a real sweetheart.

If you don't mind...
Tell us about your collection, how long have you been collecting, etc.
Thanks, John

Joann (hi Joann) has been super supportive on the new site issue. I can always count on her for some words of wisdom and friendliness. She's even nicer in person too. Her well thought out and timely private emails always put me in a better mood. I can't say I always agree on 100% of the issues but I can say she is one of the fairest people I know...and will be willing to change her mind if a persuasive argument is made. Thanks Joann.....best regards

Another great thing about Joann is she's not afraid to seek advise (sic) from other collectors before making a purchase ... or three.

And despite a grueling work schedule is about to get her law degree...for that she has my total admiration (and friendship too).

I had the pleasure of meeting her in person, too, at the 2007 National in Cleveland. She is a wonderful person. [linked image]

Oh wow guys. Thanks so much for the very very kind words. And advise (sic). hee. This will 100% make my day - maybe a few of them. I guess this is why people do care so much about this board - there is so much more than card info to be found here. happy.gif

Thx again.

Joann
